We at P Plus believe that healthcare should be readily accessible for all…which is why when the construction of the Tin Shui Wan Hospital was initially denied due to limited resources we lent a helping hand by providing our world-class cables, so that the growing population of Tsin Shui can get the care they need conveniently. The hospital officially opened in 2016, and continues to expand its services for patients.
The Lee Garden Three is a 32-story skyscraper that hovers just above the beautiful green-lined Hysan Avenue. The Lee Garden Three is home to an assortment of offices, retail stores, restaurants, wellness and sports facilities, and more. The modern building is supported by high-quality cables supplied by our team at P Plus and was eventually completed in late 2017.
As the longest land-based tunnel in Hong Kong, the Lian Tang Tunnel stretches approximately 3 miles long. The dual two-lane truck road is lined with cables supplied by P Plus, making the highway stable and safe for drivers to travel back and forth. We also worked hand in hand with a group of engineers and community liaison officers to assure that local residents were kept informed about the construction activities. After winning the Tunnelling Project of the Year in the 2019 Tunnelling Awards, we are happy to have been a part of the construction of the Liang Tang Tunnel.
Sitting at the tip of the West Kowloon Cultural District lies the The Hong Kong Palace Museum. Overlooking the iconic Victoria Harbour, the museum covers a total of 7.5 acres of land and holds over 900 art pieces from Beijing. Since the time of its construction in 2019, P Plus has provided our world-class service and quality cables. From concept through implementation, P Plus worked closely with the architect and construction team to build what is now known as one of the most influential buildings in the art world of Hong Kong.
The HK International Airport Office Tower is an essential structure to the AAHK that features a seven story building and takes up 130,000 sq of land. As a result of its strategic location, the new office building provides additional accommodation and convenience for travelers. The team members at P Plus worked alongside with contractors, supplied our top quality cables, and construction was completed on time and budget in January 2022.
The Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel is a luxury hotel with lush landscapes and first-rate amenities, attracting travelers from around the globe. The 3,400 square meters of indoor and outdoor space and 218 rooms with tall, ocean-view-facing windows offer a leisure escape to Hong Kong’s largest island. During its developmental phase, P Plus had the exciting opportunity to supply our world-class quality cables to construct a hotel that showcases the beauty and nature of Lantau Island.
The M+ Museum is a substantial development of visual culture located in the West of Kowloon Bay. In 700,000 square feet, the museum houses collections and exhibits dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Construction began in 2014, and over the course of 5 years, Ducab and P Plus lent a hand in its development until its completion in 2020. As is M+ Museum, we are proud to be contributing to the cultural journey of Hong Kong and its people.
The West Kowloon Station, also known as WEK, serves as a gateway to Mainland China and a beautiful landmark that stands in West Kowloon Cultural District. The soaring main hall consists of over 4,000 glass panels to maximize retractable skylight and its curved ceiling is made of over 8,000 tons of steel. This energy conserving structure is supported by cables supplied by P Plus and Ducab during its construction and has been open to the public since 2018. We are proud to have played a part in building a transportation hub that enriches the voyage of people in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Children’s Hospital is one of the first hospitals in Hong Kong with a specialty in medical care for children and adolescents. Located in a low-income area, the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital provides care for over 80,000 residents benefiting from this first-ever built hospital. The construction of the HK$13 billion dollar first began in August 2013 using cables provided by Ducab and P Plus and was swiftly completed by the end of 2017.
As the first and only British International School in Hong Kong, Harrow International School Hong Kong is a leading international school that integrates tradition and embraces diversity for learning. P Plus provided infrastructure cabling services and testing oversight to support the construction of the school since its opening in 2012. Our team members at P Plus are delighted to have been a part of this educational journey and are excited for its expansion of new facilities in the future.
NTT Hong Kong Financial Data Center is a Top Fortune Global 500 service provider and a Tier IV-ready infrastructure consisting of two adjoined buildings that covers over 300,000 sq ft of land. Built on a robust foundation, the FDC1 and FDC2 data towers combine innovative designs and operational efficiency to provide the highest level of security for clients using cables provided by P Plus and Ducab.
